10 years of FB

1996 – 2006

“For those who work in our field, I think that trying to understand changes, especially political and institutional ones, is of paramount importance.
It’s not always easy. But we try.”

So began Fabio Bistoncini’s, opening speech at the “10 years of FB” event to celebrate our first ten years of business.
Over the last ten years, FB has experienced the transformation from a small company, centred around two people, to a group of professionals that is much bigger and more structured, also with the addition of new partners.

This has all entailed constant updating and the development of new abilities and tools, in short of new skills.
A summary of these changes, the experience gained in understanding them, and the work carried out to interpret and make them clearer ( for ourselves and other people) has become the subject of a publication entitled “10 parole x 10 anni”, which was presented to Clients and friends during the event.

A short book, written with the help of Mario Rodriguez (founder of MR Associati), a friend and mentor from time immemorial), which summarises in just 10 words the changes that have characterized the political and institutional scene in Italy and other countries over these last ten years.

Words such as Globalization, Internet and Consumerism could not be left off this list, which is not exhaustive but very personal. But neither could Copyright, Europe and Fairness.

Ten years ago there was no company on the market able to focus exclusively on lobbying and public affairs. Today the FB agency is one of the leaders on the reference market.

Despite the goals achieved, which we are proud of (made possible by years of intense work that have been exciting but also demanding and tough) we do not feel that our ambition to improve further has eased up.
